SAINT MILES® respects your privacy the way we respect your time and your taste: completely. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or make a purchase from saintmiles.co (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Order Information. When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Payment card details are processed by our payment processors and are not stored by SAINT MILES.

Device Information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the individual pages and products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site.

Account Information. If you create an account, we collect your login credentials and order history.

Communications. If you contact us, subscribe to our emails, or opt in to text messages, we collect the information you provide and your communication preferences.

Brand Submissions. If you submit your brand for marketplace consideration, we collect the business and contact information you provide.

2. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. These include cookies set by Shopify (our commerce platform), analytics providers, and advertising partners such as Meta and Google.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies, though doing so may affect Site functionality. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit optout.aboutads.info or use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 6.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

Fulfill orders placed through the Site, including processing payment, arranging shipping with the Partner Brand fulfilling your order, and providing order confirmations and receipts;

Communicate with you about your orders and respond to your inquiries;

Screen orders for potential risk or fraud;

Provide you with information, marketing, and advertising relating to our products, in line with the preferences you have shared with us;

Improve and optimize the Site, including analytics on how customers browse and shop;

Evaluate brand submissions to the marketplace; and

Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share your personal information with the following categories of third parties:

Partner Brands. Because SAINT MILES is a curated marketplace, the independent brand fulfilling your order receives the information necessary to ship it: your name, shipping address, and order contents. Partner Brands are contractually required to use this information solely for order fulfillment.

Service Providers. We use Shopify to power our online store, Moderndropship to coordinate fulfillment with Partner Brands, payment processors to handle transactions, and email and SMS providers to deliver communications you have opted into.

Analytics and Advertising Partners. We share device and browsing information with analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta to understand Site usage and deliver relevant advertising.

Legal Compliance. We may share your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or otherwise protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing of device information with advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws; Section 6 explains how to opt out.

5. TEXT AND EMAIL MARKETING

If you opt in to marketing emails or text messages, we will send you updates about products, drops, and offers. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, and you can opt out of texts by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages about your orders.

6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

The right to know what personal information we have collected about you;

The right to access a copy of your personal information;

The right to correct inaccurate personal information;

The right to delete your personal information;

The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising; and

The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

These rights are provided under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and comparable laws in states including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@saintmiles.co with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

To opt out of the sharing of your device information for targeted advertising, email us a "Privacy Request" as described above or use the cookie controls described in Section 2. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal where required by law.

7. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing your information are the performance of our contract with you (fulfilling your order), our legitimate interests (operating and improving the Site), and your consent (marketing communications).

Please note that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our systems and service providers are located. By using the Site, you understand that your information will be transferred outside your home jurisdiction.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to legal obligations that require us to keep transaction records for a period of time, such as tax and accounting requirements. Marketing preferences are retained until you opt out.

9. SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of payment transactions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. CHILDREN

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact hello@saintmiles.co and we will delete it.

11. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" feature. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 6.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy on the Site.
